How we verify schemes
We only show scheme facts that we can trace to an official government source.
Where facts come from
Official government websites: central and state portals, ministry and department pages, and official notifications. News, blogs, videos and social media are never used as proof. We may use them only to learn that a scheme exists.
What we record
For every scheme: the official source link, the official application link, the date we last checked, and whether the checking is complete. You can see the last checked date on each scheme page.
How matching works
We turn the conditions of a scheme into simple rules, such as an age range or a state. We compare your answers with those rules. There is no guessing and no AI in this step. The same answers always give the same result, in every language.
What we cannot check
Some conditions cannot be checked from a few answers. We list these on the scheme page as conditions we could not check.
Schemes not fully checked
If we could not confirm important details from the official source, the scheme page says so clearly. Please read the official source before relying on it.
Changes and mistakes
When an official source changes, a person checks the change before we update the page. If you see a mistake, use Report a mistake. We check it against the official source and we do not change a scheme just because a report says so.
Translations
Hindi and Marathi text is being reviewed. Where a page says the translation is still being reviewed, the official website is the final source. Official scheme names are never translated.
