This GR gives women a 50 percent concession on ticket fares in all types of MSRTC (ST) buses in Maharashtra, from 17 March 2023.

• Women travelling in MSRTC buses get 50 percent off the ticket fare.
• It applies to all types of MSRTC buses, including ordinary, semi luxury (midi and mini), Nimaram, non AC sleeper seater, Shivshahi, Shivneri and Shivai (ordinary and AC).
• The concession applies from 17 March 2023.
• It applies up to the borders of Maharashtra.
• It does not apply to city transport.
• The cost is met from the state budget, as agreed with the Finance Department.
