AIF is a loan facility for post-harvest and farm infrastructure projects.

What you may get

Financing facility of Rs 1 lakh crore. Interest subvention of 3% a year on loans up to Rs 2 crore per project. Credit guarantee is available for loans up to Rs 2 crore.

Who it is for

Farmers, agri entrepreneurs, start-ups, producer organisations, self-help groups, cooperatives and state agencies.

Main eligibility conditions

• Loan is taken through participating banks and lenders.
• Project must be eligible under the fund.

Conditions we could not check

• Project must be a post-harvest or farm infrastructure project financed through a participating lender.
• A Detailed Project Report is needed.
• Private entities may undertake up to 25 projects.

• Loan application form of the bank, signed.
• Identity proof (Voter ID, PAN, Aadhaar or Driving Licence) and photographs.
• Address proof.
• Registration certificate for a company, firm or MSME, if applicable.
• Land ownership or lease records.
• Detailed Project Report.

How to apply

1. Register as a beneficiary on the AIF portal.
2. Prepare a Detailed Project Report using the model DPR templates on the portal.
3. Gather the documents on the official checklist page.
4. Submit the loan application through the portal and the lending bank.
