ICAR National Talent Scholarship (NTS) for Agriculture students

In simple words

ICAR gives a monthly scholarship to students admitted to a bachelor's or master's degree in agriculture through the ICAR entrance exam.

What you may get

Rs 2,000 per month for a bachelor's degree and Rs 3,000 per month for a master's degree, as stated in the guidelines.

Who it is for

Students admitted through the All India Entrance Examination to an agricultural university outside their home state.

Main eligibility conditions

• Admission in an agricultural university outside the state of domicile.
• Whole time study, good conduct and no other scholarship.
• Minimum grade point average is needed each year (lower for SC and ST students).

• The university must be outside the student's home state.
• No other scholarship may be held, and the study must be whole time.

2. Fill the online form for this scheme and upload the documents.
3. Submit before the last date shown on the portal. The institute then verifies the form.
