Grant of Rs 1.20 lakh per house in ordinary areas and Rs 1.30 lakh in hilly areas. Also Rs 12,000 for a toilet and 90 to 95 days of unskilled work under MGNREGA. House size 269 sq ft.

Scheduled Tribe families in Maharashtra who are homeless or have no permanent house.

Main eligibility conditions

• Scheduled Tribe.
• Maharashtra resident for at least 15 years.
• No permanent house.
• Rural family income up to Rs 1.20 lakh.
• Has not taken another government housing scheme.

Conditions we could not check

• Minimum 15 years of residence in Maharashtra.
• Should own at least 269 sq ft land or have an existing kutcha house.
• Only one family member can benefit.
• Must not have used another government housing scheme.
• Must be listed in Form D of the Socio-Economic Caste Census 2011.
• Income limit Rs 1.20 lakh is stated for rural areas.

Who may not qualify

• Those who already took a benefit of another government housing scheme may not qualify.
