Maharashtra Pollution Control Board (MPCB)

What it does

MPCB works to prevent and control water and air pollution in Maharashtra under the Water and Air Acts. Industries and other units apply to it for consent to operate, and it monitors compliance. The Board was set up on 7 September 1970.
