Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI)

What it does

UIDAI is the central statutory authority that issues and manages Aadhaar numbers, under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. Residents use its website and the Aadhaar app to update details, download e-Aadhaar and find an Aadhaar Seva Kendra. It has a toll free helpline for Aadhaar queries.
