What you may get
Training is free. In short term non-residential training a stipend of Rs 1,500 per month for SC and sanitation workers, and Rs 1,000 per month for OBC, EWS and DNT candidates, may be paid. Safai mitras and waste pickers may get Rs 500 per month for up-skilling training.

People aged 18 to 45 years from SC, OBC or EWS families (income below Rs 3 lakh for OBC and EWS), DNT, transgender persons, and sanitation workers including waste pickers and their dependants.
Main eligibility conditions
- Age 18 to 45 years.
- OBC and EWS candidates need annual family income below Rs 3 lakh.
- SC, DNT and sanitation workers have no income limit.
- Transgender candidates need a certificate and ID from the national transgender portal.
Conditions we could not check
- Other eligible groups are DNT (de-notified, nomadic, semi-nomadic tribes), transgender persons, and safai karamcharis including waste pickers and their dependants, whose income limit does not apply.
