A one-year renewable accident insurance cover for bank or post office account holders aged 18 to 70.

What you may get

Rs 2 lakh on accidental death, or loss of both eyes, hands or feet. Rs 1 lakh on loss of one eye or one limb. The premium is Rs 20 a year.

Bank or post office account holders aged 18 to 70 years may join.

Main eligibility conditions

• Cover runs from 1 June to 31 May and is renewable each year.
• Documentary evidence of accidental death is needed for a claim.

Conditions we could not check

• Needs a bank or post office account with auto-debit.
• Only one claim is allowed across multiple accounts.
• Death by suicide is excluded.
• Cover ends at age 70 or when the account is closed.

Who may not qualify

• Death by suicide is not covered (murder is covered).
• Partial disability without permanent loss of sight or limb is not covered.
