What you may get

Cash assistance of Rs 1600 for a 14.2 kg connection (Rs 1150 for 5 kg). It covers deposit, regulator, hose, card and installation. The first refill and a stove are free.

Who it is for

Adult women from the listed categories may apply.

Main eligibility conditions

• Applicant must be at least 18 years old.
• No other LPG connection in the same household.

Conditions we could not check

• The woman must belong to a listed category (SC/ST households, PM Awas Yojana beneficiaries, Most Backward Classes, forest dwellers, island communities).
• There should be no other LPG connection in the household.

Who may not qualify

• Households that already have an LPG connection.

Documents you may need

• KYC form
• Ration card or state document showing family members
• Aadhaar of applicant and adult family members
• Proof of address
• Bank account number and IFSC

How to apply

1. Apply online on the IndianOil, Bharat Gas or HP Gas portal linked on the PMUY site.
2. Or fill the form at the nearest LPG distributor.
3. Submit the documents with the form.
