A merit scholarship for college and university students from families with income up to Rs 4.5 lakh a year.

What you may get

Rs 12,000 a year at graduation level for the first three years. Rs 20,000 a year at post-graduation level. Some 5 year and technical courses have different rates.

Who it is for

Students above the 80th percentile in Class XII, with family income up to Rs 4.5 lakh a year, may apply.

Main eligibility conditions

• Above 80th percentile of successful candidates in Class XII in the relevant stream
• Regular degree or diploma course, not correspondence or distance mode
• Course at a college recognised by AICTE or the concerned regulator
• Not receiving any other scholarship or fee waiver
• Family income up to Rs 4.5 lakh a year

• Must study a regular degree or diploma course at a recognised institution, not distance mode.
• Must not receive any other scholarship, fee waiver or reimbursement scheme.
