A central scheme that may give skill, entrepreneurship and education support to people from the six notified minority communities and artisan families.

What you may get

Components include traditional skill training for artisans, non-traditional skilling in NSQF job roles, leadership and entrepreneurship training, and an education bridge programme for school dropouts.

Who it is for

Indian citizens from the notified minority communities (Muslims, Christians, Buddhists, Sikhs, Jains, Parsis). At least 33% of seats in skill training and 50% in the education component are for women, and 3% seats for persons with disability.

Main eligibility conditions

• Belong to a notified minority community.
• Age 14 to 45 years for training and education. Age 18 to 45 years for leadership and entrepreneurship.
• Aadhaar card and an Aadhaar linked bank account.
• Meet the NSQF education and experience level for the job role.

Conditions we could not check

• The Leadership and Entrepreneurship component is for ages 18 to 45. Other components target ages 14 to 45, preferably EWS.
• Candidates need an Aadhaar card and an Aadhaar linked bank account.
• Training is run by Project Implementing Agencies chosen by the Ministry. Availability depends on nearby courses.
